Just curious as to what's the purpose. I've noticed that when working with younger students at my current school, even when they can't Identify objects and lack certain skills, they still get a boat load of, "excellents, good jobs, wonderful, oh you're doing so well" and I know its the effort that's being praised but I also see how much longer its taking for the skill to be mastered.
Example: When asking students to identify certain colors and objects, the students could not but are still told, "great job, you're doing excellent" So the next time the student is approached to do the same skill as well as assessed, they still don't show great improvement.
Yes the skills are taught in class and sometimes corrections are made. Again just curious.
