I miss you ALL so much! Oops, I got sick again (REALLY sick:smileysad:) and just didn't feel like participating. I found out that "cold" I had been fighting had actually been pnumonia-DUH, YOU ALL are parents here (mostly of teens) and KNOW we don't get to be ill. So, well yeah, I waited far too long to see the DR.

I think I'm on the mend now. YAY ME! BUT now, of course there are other health (or lack thereof) concerns. It's HELL turning 50- at least for me. I'm AARP eligible now though!:smileysurprised: I can get DENTAL INSURANCE through them! WOW!

As for my 16yo DD, ummm, not sure if I'm disappointed or what. She had a VERY rough year and grades dropped. I'm heartbroken for her but if she wants it enough she'll get back on track. I blame MYSELF for alot of her troubles because I got sick. I know it has something to do with her dad being dead and not losing mom too. She absolutely refuses to see a counselor. She reminds me of me so much- I keep telling her she can't live all of her life on her own...then she see's me doing it.

Some "role-model" I turned out to be.
