Not a darn thing here...DD's BF was not allowed to come over, mommy needed him to be her "date" at an adult work related party, he has his permit now so he can drive her home:smileysad:

SO DD and I hung out at home- watched the NY ball thing at ummm...I think it was 9pm here? (Pacific Time USA). She cyber kissed a friend in England at THEIR time zone (+8 ahead of us), and I let her have the computer to watch one of her favorites : A Hitch Hikers Guide To The Galaxy- I have SOOO POISIONED my girls with old movies! (And thanks for all the fish!)

At midnight it was SO DARN COLD outside she didn't want to do fireworks- so we went out on the driveway just for a minute to say we did, and looked at all the arials going off around the neighborhood! After about 3 minutes she screamed "TOO COLD!" and galloped for the door! So we watched the stuff out the front room window that we could see from there.

Never opened the champagne for just her and I- She asked about it and I told her if she wanted a glass I'd be happy to open it...she said never mind, "you know I'll just have a sip anyway" and I certainly wasen't in the mood to guzzle a bottle to myself!

That was our big night! I want to hear about the Anniversary party and the Girl Scouts trip!!
