Most of you have probably heard that U.S. Special Operations delivered justice in the form of the death of Osama bin Laden.
I am not one to rejoice in another human being's death. After all, even the worst psychopaths are loved by someone. That being said, it's not likely any tears are going to be shed by me or by anyone I know either (unless I happen to know a closet terrorist or supporter of terrorists -- which I'm pretty sure I don't). Mostly, I'm sitting here thinking that it's a nice little victory for our forces and that I hope it weakens Al Qaeda as a whole, but that AQ is not one man. It is not just Osama bin Laden. And we've just stirred the hornets' nest. I won't be surprised if things get worse (again) before they get better, and I pray for all the families and soldiers affected.
What does the death of Osama bin Laden mean to you?
