DH told me he was driving home yesterday from a meeting in Bowling Green (our closest "city") and on his way out of town, there is a small woodlot he had to pass through and he spotted a falsh of red at the forest edge. Lo, and behold, a fox, licking it's belly!
Now I've seen foxes a our California place but it is wilderness, almost (also has mountain lions, although, luckily, I have never seen one of those, and bob cats). But they seem to be becoming more plentiful here in semi-rural agricultural NW Ohio. And apparenlty are a plague on barn cats...
