Tonight we went to our Botanical Gardens Illuminations Christmas display. The weather was great at 60ºF during the day and 55º tonight with little breeze. There were a lot of people there, but they all kept moving along and were spaced so not so crowded. There were lights everywhere and luminarias along both sides of every pathway with lighted chimineas spaced along paths, too, for a wee bit of warmth. There were three sections where the lights were computer timed to "dance" with the music playing. It was so beautiful and good exercise walking around too.
Photos do not do it justice at all, but you'll get a little bit of an idea. I haven't learned the fancy tricks with my new camera, yet, only the basics. I need to learn how to take shots without the flash.
The blue hanging lights that look like grape clusters were one of my favorites. I wish I could have gotten a better photo. They were all hanging in an arbor and so very beautiful against the night sky.......
