I wanted to share my story about my ALMOST IVF cancellation (conversion to IUI). My doctor recommended me to convert to an IUI and DH & I decided to continue on with IVF and we are so glad we did. I had my ER yesterday and I had 13 retrieved and today found out that 7 fertilized.

My story: I am 37 and DH is 42. In August my antral follicle count was 20 which was good for someone my age. I didn't think I would have any problems stimming but I was wrong (kinda of).

Day 5 of stim (325 units of Follistim): 3 follicles on the right and 3 of the left. All under 8mm. I was so shocked that I had so few growing. I was really expecting to see around 15.
