So as we start to prepare ourselves (meaning DH and I) for a high school student; we find out our school district is implementing an Early College option for the high school our dd will attend! We received the letter yesterday that our DD is considered a high performer and has the option to take the track of earning not only her HS diploma, but an A.A. degree from one of the local community colleges. I'm excited for this opportunity for her, but uneasy about it at the same time.
I just know what track she is thinking about (swimming at a D1 and studying Perinatology/Neonatology), because that is what she has been focusing on for the last year.
What do you think? Will this put her on the track she wants to go and my nerves are just plain silly or should I say "my child is not going to be your guinea pig?"
Here's the link to what I'm talking about and let me know if this is realistic!

Thanks in advance!
