We had the ultrasound at the midwife's office, and though they could find the baby, it is now measuring 6 weeks 2 days, at almost 12 weeks along, and no heartbeat. It's been suggested that the problem is very likely due to the fact that my husband recently came back from his deployment in Iraq, and he was exposed regularly to heavy radiation on his job repairing the radars. We will be trying again once a year's time has passed since his homecoming. Hopefully that will do the trick. At least we know we can get pregnant. :)
