Hoping...

Hey everyone! I probably should've posted here quite some time ago as I'm 36 weeks already. I had a c section with my DS after a long induction because my cervix started to swell right when I was reaching 10cm. He was 6lbs. From my online research, a swelling cervix is typically caused by the head being in the incorrect position or a baby that's too large. My doctors aren't the most VBAC friendly, but they are allowing me to try, though they won't let me go more than a few days overdue before doing a c. They seem to think my pelvis is too small, though they haven't done any tests or anything like that. I would really like to have the experience of a vaginal birth and my DH and I are ready to stand up for ourselves come delivery day if the drs start pushing for a c unnecessarily. But at the same time, I'm scared. Ultimately, I want a healthy baby and mom no matter how this baby enters the world. Has anyone else had experience with cervical swelling?
