Hey ladies, just wanted to send you all on update on baby Harper. She is doing great! We made our 24 week mark on Tuesday which was a huge milestone for us. Harper had a growth ultrasound on Monday and she weighed 1 pound 6 ounces as of that day. Tuesday, we had a biophysical profile ultrasound for her and she scored 8/8, A+! This measures her fluid, movements, breathing, and oxygen flow of the placenta and umbilical cord. We have started our daily Non-Stress Tests (NSTs) and she is doing awesome with those. They measure her heart rate and it is supposed to increase a certain amount of beats per minute depending on how active she is. We have had 3 of those and they are all wonderful.
They also gave me my steroid injections on Monday and Tuesday to speed up Harper's lung development, and I continue to receive weekly Progesterone shots and a ton of other meds to ward off infection and keep me and baby healthy.
We have had ultrasounds the last few days and she looks awesome. The doctors had me on Indocin to keep my uterus calm, but we stopped that on Monday because it was affecting her fluid. She has built it back up, which the doctors expected this to happen.
