So they retested my HCG level today b/c it was still at 17 last Friday. Today it is 58...which means they are thinking ectopic now. So they want me to come back in Sunday to retest my HCG (yes, this is will be the 6th time, 7.7, 21, 23, 17, 58) and then will give me a shot of methotrexate if needed. Problem is that I'm going to a national conference in San Francisco next week (that I am speaking at as well) that DH and I are treating as a vacation also. So if I get the shot Sunday, I will probably be sick the entire time AND I will have to find a clinic in CA to do a blood test while I'm there! Can't anything be easy?!!? I asked them to please just give me the shot today and they said no.
Anyone that has done methotrexate before? How long did it take to start bleeding/cramping and how long did it last?
