My doctor put me on Gabapentin last fall, the first time I'd ever taken a medicine for fibromyalgia as it'd gotten worse. I had some unexplained medical issues, so they took me off. They decided the Gabapentin wasn't the issue and put me back on. After being on it I decided to stop taking it. It made me very tired, I wasn't convinced it was helping, and I'd get these weird moments where I'd feel as if I'd just been given anesthesia and the room would spin, then a minute later I'd be fine. That was enough to make me quit.

I hurt a lot now but I hate to try one more medicine (I'm on several others for other conditions). I try to do some exercise and keep moving as that's supposed to help.

I'm curious what others are on, if you care to share, for fibromyalgia and what else you do to try to help yourself. Thanks.
