I been watching the store flyers. I buy majority of my dry goods and non parishibles at Aldi's. But been watching the sales at the Mexican market. They have some unbelievable prices on meat. Significantly lower than the regular grocery store. I got some Angus beef tips for 2.80$ a pound. Then chicken legs were 69 cents a pound. They were some really nice fat legs. Then Angus ground chuck 2.69$ a pound. Flyers go from Thursday to Wednesday. So I look today. I see. They got pork ribs 79 cents a pound. If you buy 5 or more pounds. Then Angus bottom round is 2.69$ a pound. Then brats and Italians 1.49$ a pound. I know I have a mess of stuff in my freezer. But this is to good a deal to pass up. I got the huge upright freezer. So I got the space to store it all. I have never gotten a bad cut of meat from the Mexican market so far. I haven't worked all summer. Was not selected to work. Only some of us work. So what money we have left of dh's disability checks. Has to stretch for food also. I think I might make a run up there today for the new weeks deals.
