I'm totally hooked on all the Olympic news and events, and and love it when I see my boys getting into it as well.   What do you think about the Olympics so far?  Any surprises or disappointments?

I'm still upset about the whole Jordyn Weiber situation.  I don't think it's a true Olympic competition when you do not take the best 24 competitors instead of limiting it to 2 per country.  I don't know of another Olympic sport that does their qualifying rounds this way, anyone know of any comparisons?

I was so excited to see Missy Franklin win a gold last night in the 100m.  Totally awesome to watch, especially after competing in a qualifying race for the 200m just ten minutes earlier.
