On the debate/hot topics board there is a discussion going on about the whole Penn State thing. I'm absolutely appalled at how many people think that the NCAA was too harsh on Penn and that many innocent people are being hurt. It sounds as if a lot of people are more concerned about football than the innocent children who were sexually abused. It really pushes my buttons to read the comments. The innocent are the children. Too many people knew and did nothing and I think the NCAA should have been harsher with Penn. How can this country, this world, be so warped that football becomes more important than children? It outrages me. If any of them had been hurt as a child perhaps they'd see how damaging SA is and not worry about a sport. I'm so upset over this.
