Yeast infections and garlic
Fri, 08-31-2012 - 10:46pm

I've been struggling with a yeast infections for the past couple months.  I've gone through a 3 day Monistat, 5 day treatment of Diflucan and a 7 day treatment of Gynelotrimin.  ACK!  After all that, a week went by and I started to feel itchy again.  I mean, come on!  I went looking online for natural remedies.  I thought about the tea tree oil suppositories but I would have to order them online.  I read about garlic being a natural antifungal.  I peeled a clove of garlic and inserted it into my vagina overnight.  I took it out in the morning (which was a bit of a challenge).  By the end of the day, no more itching!!  I've been great ever since.  I was skeptical, but it worked.  Next time you feel a bit of itchiness coming on, try it.  Can't hurt!
