Ds is loving High School.  He stumbled on his first H Geometry test, not too bad, a 75%.  But, he will go in for some extra help this week.  Other than that, he is doing great.  He has 2 honor classes that are Sophomore classes, Bio and Geometry and 1 honor Freshman history class.  We pulled him out of H English because he is not the best paper writer, and with the other tough classes, we were did not struggle too much.  He also has PE (health next semester), German and band to round out the day.  He LOVES football, even though he is mostly a bench warmer, but he is OK with that.  He has scouts and religious ed outside of school.  He has stuff with band and is in German club at school. 

Dd is LOVING college.  She has a dorm meant for 3 or even 4, a suite, for 2 FRESHMEN!  How did that happen? She is on a tri-mester system.  So, she has her Honors class (takes care of her composition and religious studies), Latin and Chemistry.  She tested into a tougher Chem,  and she is working with a tutor now.  She had it 2 years ago, and needs some refreshing on that subject.  She is doing club lacrosse (she will try out in the spring for the team), fencing club and equestrian club.  She has volunteered at an animal shelter too, since she has not found a paying job yet. I have a few dorm pics here.
