DD tells me that she has an interview next week at a nursing home about 20 miles from us - in the opposite direction from where DSIL works.  The facility has a good reputation and pays well with very good benefits for a nursing home. I don't know much more about it, but she really needs to find a position that comes with health insurance benefits. Working PRN has worked well for her, and she's getting 20-25 hours a week but she's not elegible for health insurance there because she's only PRN.

On another front - baby Wyatt had his first day of day care yesterday.  Until now he's been cared for by family or by friends that DD has known since she was in elementary school.  I dropped him off in the morning and he wasn't so sure he wanted to stay there, but when DD picked him up yesterday afternoon he was having a good time and didn't want to leave.  It's a small family day care, just a few other kids there being cared for by a retired woman who used to be a first grade teacher.  What's nice is, she will do drop in care on short notice without charging an arm and a leg.
