If all goes as planned, by the end of 2012 I will be the youngest director at my company!
My VP and I were travelling this week and it gave me the opportunity to discuss some things with her. We are moving forward with the hiring of another manager (because she is fully aware of how my team is running at 110% all the time!). Anyways, she told me that instead of hiring externally for the director, she wants to promote me into it and perhaps send me to some leadership and training courses!
She has started the approval process and we're just waiting on final sign off's! Keep your fingers and toes crossed. It woudl mean an increase in pay (I'm thinking at least 10%) and a larger bonus!
