My poor little Valerie had to go to the pediatrician today for infected hangnails. She got an antibiotic cream and had to soak her hands and feet in warm water. We had to do that while Thumper was nursing. If her nails don't improve by tomorrow night, we're looking at a hospital stay and IV antibiotics, so we'd appreciate your prayers!

PS - I'm upset the hospital nurses dismissed my concerns instead of telling me to moisturize her fingers and toes to prevent the issue. It's pretty common in newborns, so I just wanted to share FYI so we don't see anymore infected hangnails.
