The oncologist says there is a spot on my lower spine that is "a concern" and also I have some bone thinning there, which probably is a sign of cancer.  How thyroid cancer got into my lower back, I don't know.

Now I need an MRI so they can see it better and then I'll see a radiation doctor who will in all probability do targeted radiation on it. Sounds scary, but not as scary as chemotherapy, which he says won't work very well on this kind of cancer.
