What's on the menu tonight?
Sunday, on the way back from our weekend getaway, I planned my menu and made the grocery list. When I got home, my hubby unpacked his truck and I drove to the grocery store. I was afraid if I went in to sit down I would put off getting them. I knew I was going to have to go to the funeral home one night early this week so I planned to cook some Koegel's Vienna's on my grill pan. We will have those with a packaged macaroni deal (Cheesy Bacon Macaroni) I bought made by Knorr.

Danny's grandmother passed away Saturday. I know the funeral home is going to be packed! She turned 100 back in July... she was a wonderful lady and the matriarch of the church I grew up in. Her and her husband came here from Ohio back in the 40's and started 4 or 5 churches in our area.
She was a very wise woman and gave wonderful counsel to whoever was lucky enough to receive it. All we had to do was ask and she would take us under her wing, literally, and prayed right there and then with us. She lived on her own until about 8 years ago when she moved in with her son & DIL (her son had a stroke about the same time so her DIL had to care for both of them). Whenever I spoke with her, all she talked about was wanting to go to Heaven. Now she has her wish...
Sorry to get all sentimental in the Supper Thread...
