Hurricane Sandy is hitting the east coast. It's wet, it's windy, it's dangerous. I'm stocked up on all the essentials, although I don't have a lot of batteries (out of my budget) so hoping I don't lose power and need them. The governor just issued a statement that he wants everyone off the roads for the next 36 hours. This was just released from the National Weather Service for our area [2].

Really scary stuff. And to add insult to injury, a skunk family decided to weather out the storm in the crawl space beneath my kitchen. Smells. So. Durn. Badly. In. My. House.

I'm laughing. If I didn't laugh, I'd be crying and laughing is so much better for the soul.
