Hi,

At the risk of being monotonous in my posts (job/apartment situations!), I wanted to share my good news.  The day after I was laid off, I applied to another position out of the blue - interviewed, then had a second interview with the owner (they checked my references as well).   A job offer came through yesterday.......

I'm kind of blown away - I didn't expect this to happen so soon.  It's exciting and scary all at the same time!! :)

You guys have been so supportive through my situations........I want to thank you and share this piece of positive news.

Also - I hope any of you in the NY area are dry and safe - have seen lots of bad stuff happening on the news with hurricane Sandy.
