Folks, you have not heard from me since the launch because i cannot read responses on anyone's post (anyone know how to fix this?  I am using Windows 7.  Email me privately.)  Anyhoo:

Tomorrow morning, the Ontario Music Educators' Association annual convention starts.  We got an email giving special instructions for some of the workshops over the weekend.  In that email, they asked for some volunteer conductors for a workshop on string rehearsal techniques (taught by the assistant concertmaster of the Toronto Symphony).  I volunteered, partially because the assigned piece was one I did on my conducting recital many moons ago.  I have NO idea why, but...THEY PICKED *ME*!!!!!  Even if this was random, I feel honored!  I got the score and have been cramming ever since.
