We made it to Friday!!   Anything going on this weekend?

Tonight is nothing.   And I need a night of nothing.   Allowing that I actually get off at 4:00 today like I am supposed to, I will have worked 47 hours this week.  I’m tired.   And my feet hurt.   I worked a middle school basketball game last night that turned out the be the world’s longest game.   They have an A and B game.   We are only supposed to work the A game and it’s supposed to start at 6:00, we get there at 5:30.   The visiting team got there around 6:00.   And then both games dragged on and on.  The refs called every nit-picky hand check foul.   And the games weren’t even close.   Both were blow outs.   The A game ended 56-16.  I got home right at 9:00.

I have had a few late calls during the week too.  Makes for a long week.

So, we are going to sit on the couch and clear out the DVR of ghost shows tonight.   I am cooking too.   That’s something I haven’t done much of this week.

Tomorrow the kids and I are going to my parent’s house to help with their leaves.   I haven’t talked to them yet, so they may have another plan.   But, they have a big yard, and 2 huge oak trees.   It’s a leaf explosion there and my dad isn’t getting any younger.   So, my plan is to go help rake.

Tomorrow afternoon we are off to a soccer game.   The high school I work in, and my alma mater, the girls’ soccer team is playing in the state championship game.   They have never been this far before.  They are awesome.   Jeff and his kids are going with us.   His DD is a great soccer player, one of the best on her club team.   She is entering a magnet program at my school next year so she can play soccer with this program.   Our plan is to go to the game and then out to eat afterwards.   We may all go back to his house and have a bonfire.   We haven’t decided that far out yet.

Sunday I plan to get back to church.   We are way out of the habit of going since the baseball/softball summer and fall.   And I guess Sunday will bring laundry, grocery run, and cleaning.   Blech!

But wait… there’s more.   I have Federal Election Day off.   So, I work Monday and then get the bonus day of Tuesday off.   DS is going to a slumber party Monday night.   DD has 6 day a week softball starting back next Monday.   She gets out at 8:00 that night.   We are going from there to a town over to go ghost hunting.   She has been dying to go for years.   There are 6 police officers going, along with a teacher and her husband.   We are doing an abandoned old jail and adjoining cemetery.

Tuesday we are sleeping in and doing as little as possible.
