I thought I'd feel better with the extra hour but I'm still tired and need a break. I'm feeling really out of shape, too tired to work out. I find it challenging to demo some moves, even. On the postiive side, I guess, they've found that women w/ active jobs, even w/out working out officially, have lower rates of metabolic syndrome and heart disease. I've been going to my new gym, which is my old gym that closed w/ a facelift/new owners. It's much nicer, tons of new equipment I've never seen. I feel like such an old dog not wanting to learn new tricks but really, what advantage does any machine have over free weights and a ball/BOSU?
I'm teaching step this morning, conditioning to the dance girls where I'm teaching a routine to gangnam style that has mountain climbers and burpees, and then have jazz class.I'm so ready for this jazz class to end! It's fun enough but just a bad time and I get very little out of it. I'd much rather spend the time on technique and repetition, although it wouldn't be as fun as working on a routine. Ha, I should just ask the dance girls to teach me to do it!
