Please enlighten me.  Zeph has been wanting an ITouch.  He received a Nano and was thrilled but now and then mentions ITouch.  I think its because his friends have one.    Meanwhle he dropped his Nano and cracked the screen.  it works and he hasn't asked for a new one, but Target is selling them Black Friday for $195 plsu $40 Target gift card plus 5% off wiht the red card so I'm considering it.

Why are they cool?  Can you NOT have online access and still play games, music, etc?  Do you need them linked to a credit card? Do they take photos, send email?  One of his friends says he texts from his.  Do you need a data plan then?  He has a DS that he plays with I don't know if he need another device to play games on (one is too many already IMHO).  The price is low enough that if he just uses it for music, I'm okay wiht that.  I'm showing how non tech savvy I am.  DH set up our Itunes accounts and I have no idea how they work.
