I attended my pre-natal breast feeding class tonight and wanted to see who had plans to breast or bottle feed.  I know they have lots of advice on how breast is best, but I've also had friends who bottle fed and I guess I have respect for their choice and they chose what was best for their family.  Do you have plans to breast or bottle feed or are you willing to try breastfeeding and see how it goes and then make your decision?  Also, there's the long debate of how long do you plan to breast feed.  I personally think I'll be more challenged when I return to work. I know it's hard in nursing to find time to get away from your patients to pump. I'm hoping to breastfeed as long as I can, but a lot of coworkers have said they are so painful from the pumping being infrequent at work.  Anyone have ideas on how long they want to try to breastfeed?
