I got a nice Christmas bonus, net $17,900...paid extra owed to escrow for increase insurance, paid some Dr. bills & extra on mortgage & $ into EF.  Our mortgage is now under $45,000 & we are counting down 23 mths til it is paid off.  Our EF is now at $17,400 & I have $ set aside for eye checkup & new glasses.  We do plan on putting a new roof on the house in the spring so we will use part of savings for that.  But I feel really good about where we are right now.  Its been many years of paying off debt & striving for a debt free life.  I'm an avid Dave Ramsey fan & I'm thankful everyday that I read his books & listened to his radio show.  Retirment account is at $337,000 & our IRA is at $15,500 & adding to it every month.  I should get between $15,000 & $21,000 added to my retirement account from my employer in January.  I now see that all of the hard work & sticking with my job for 28 years is paying off.  My DH has moved around with jobs, due to back surgery etc., & only works March thru October so I'm thankful for where our finances are & that we can handle him being off for several months a year.  My main goal at this point is to have our  mortgage off paid by the time I'm 51...just turned 49 this year.

I encourage you all to keep posting & reading this board for all of the support & ideas you can get here.  Keep on keeping on & I hope financial peace for you all in 2013!
