Hi, I am trying to look for a grant to go back to school.  The school that I have been accepted into is an online school.  I am wanting to go for medical transcription.  My problem is, affording it!  I have been spending hrs upon hrs on the computer looking for grants and am ready to beat my head against the wall.  I'm so frustrated, especially today b/c my searches have all come up with minority grants.  Unfortunately, I am white, not black, hispanic, asian or disabled for that matter. (and by no means do I mean this in a racist way, so please don't take it there.) I'm just wondering if anyone can lead me down a road or even give me some names of grants to look in to.  I know that I will most likely be accepted for one, as I am currently layed off and have made less than $18,000/year for the past few years.
