Yep- Cookie season starts this week.  

We still have a couple cookies left here at our house (trefoils, mints, and lemons)!  Once we hit December, I just handed the remaining boxes to the girls who showed up at our final meeting.  I told them that I refuse to carry those boxes into the next year and they are had not been sellable in a while.  Well, my daughter did her best to eat our allotment of cookies, but when you see something ALL the time, it is just not appealing any longer.  So, this year, I will not be purchasing any cookies except for a box or two of samoas (those have been long gone!).  And I will not choose to order too many beyond what the girls have on their initial order... just enough to cover one booth sale.  The other reason I'm not going to push it is that the parents aren't pushing it (last year- even when they knew we were stuck with so many extras I got no help).  And the day cookies arrive this year is the day after I arrive home from a family trip to Disneyworld!  No rest for the weary!!!
