My cortisol levels are out of whack which has my anxiety levels through the roof. I have seen a doctor and am addressing the issue. But then I started thinking about the impact of cortisol levels on my anxiety levels and the secondary effects of low cortisol levels (craving high carbs, low energy, etc.). My kid suffers from high anxiety and I began to wonder about his cortisol levels. Is anyone managing or trying to control cortisol levels? Has anyone looked at it as a way to address some of the anxiety our kiddos face?
