The Golden Globes winners have taken their place in the spotlight; now everyone seems to be gearing up for the 2013 Oscars... I just love seeing all the fashions on the red carpet! Now that the nominations are in, who do you think will win?

There are a lot of really good movies, including the Golden Globe winner for best picture, Argo. I just read this article [3] that predicted Argo is likely out of the running, since the director, Ben Affleck, wasn't nominated in the best director category. It seems few movies win best picture if the director doesn't make the best director cut... to me, that's just crazy! Is it just me or shouldn't a movie be judged on it's own merits and not be dependent on also having to have the director nominated, too?
