I just finished watching "Nursery University", a documentary about the cut-throat process of trying to get your child enrolled in private preschool in the New York area. I was astounded at what these parent go through! Things like :speed-dialing a school over and over in hopes of getting past a busy signal just to get an application, agonizing over word choices when filling them out, spending hundreds, sometimes thousands or dollars just in admission fees or donations to a school. Wow.
What's it like in your "neck of the woods"? I live in Louisiana and thankfully, I did not experience anything near that cost or time committment!! It's preschool, not college, for goodness sakes!
