Waiter Michael Garcia deserves a round of applause and is getting it from grateful parents across the US. He stood up for the family of Milo, a boy with Down Synrome, after another customer made comments about the boy.
A family sitting nearby asked to move away from the Castillo family's table, and a man in the group made a disparaging remark about Milo.
“I heard the man say, ‘Special needs children need to be special somewhere else,’” Garcia told NBC affiliate KPRC-TV in. “My personal feelings took over, and I told him, ‘I’m not going to be able to serve you, Sir.’”

It's so great to see someone sticking up for a special needs child. I'm sure that there are plenty more people out there that feel the same, but as stories such as these make the rounds, hopefully it will have a positive effect on their attitudes.
