I live in a very small town and over the last few weeks hundreds of people have been in the hospital because of the flu. The schools are thinking of closing for a few days to try to prevent it from spreading. So I don't understand why people don't get a flu shot, especially those who are older or have young children. I had the flu a few years ago when I was younger and it almost killed me. Now if there is anything I can do to prevent from ever having it again, I will. I have to think that people don't get the flu shot because they don't understand how deadly it can be.
