Chewbacca, Yoda makeup artist Stuart Freeborn passes

Makeup and creature effects veteran Stuart Freeborn, who fashioned classic characters ranging from "Star Wars'" Yoda and Chewbacca to the "Dawn of Man" apes in "2001: A Space Odyssey," died in London at 98, LucasFilm said Wednesday.

The BBC documentary clip included in the article is so cool! He sounds like a fun-loving individual... all those characters on Star Wars were fascinating. I thought it was totally rad that Yoda's look was based partly on Freeborn and partly on Albert Einstein! He was a true artist.
