They arrived even earlier than I thought they would, so we all had dinner together, then pretty much hung around here and watched Riley, lol.
Saturday R. was up early , about 5:30, so I got her breakfast and chatted with her till Colleen and Tom got up about 6:30. A friend of Colleen's came by after lunch with her two kids - a girl about 4 (I think), and a baby boy, 7 months. Riley and the girl had a great time. They (sort of) played Hide and Seek, and packed a little bag for vacations in other rooms - the kitchen was the North Pole, one of the bedrooms was a museum and the bathroom was somewhere I didn't catch the name of. Both Ava (the friend's girl) and Riley had a laughing, running, shrieking good time. Later we went out to eat at The Moose and had fun there, too. Riley took us all for a walk, one at a time, then played with some toys she found in a play area while we waited for our table to be called.
Today we played on the computer (mostly looking at pictures, lol) and she colored and put stickers in a book, and managed to get her hand caught in the handle of a little seat she had and needed some assistance in freeing herself. Oh, and she discovered the fun of Silly Putty, lol.
They headed home about noon and after we straightened up and got things back to normal, Millie came out to socialize with us. She is the only one who is always glad to see them go, lol!
