Keeping a kitchen curfew

I got a newsletter from iVillage this morning about weight loss and I browsed through it and saw this very interesting article about keeping a kitchen curfew. Late night tv with a snack is definitely one of my problems and my husband and I have considered trying to turn the tv off earlier. I had never thought of turning the kitchen off.  We have been discussing this kitchen curfew and we think it may work if we work together on it. Have you ever tried it? http://www.ivillage.com/10-ways-lose-weight-10-minutes/4-a-523253 [2] how did it work? Was it something you could reasonably do?
