I'm feeling bitter. Yesterday I was literally cooking all day, making freezer food for DH's work lunches and for upcoming suppers. When I was finally done about 7 o'clock last night, I jokingly said, "Well, I made this mess..." (which was, when I was growing up, finished with "so someone else can clean it up") and DH, point blank, said, "So you clean it up." I was ready to explode, I was so mad! I had spent my entire day doing extra things for him, and he couldn't even be bothered to help me with the dishes? I ended up leaving half of them on the counter to do today. He also had the gall to ask me at quarter after five, "What's for dinner?" and when I told him it was pasta, to say, "Can't you make something else?" I'VE BEEN MAKING SOMETHING ELSE ALL DAY. IF YOU DON'T LIKE WHAT'S ON THE MENU, MAKE YOUR OWN FRIGGING DINNER.
And after all this, he couldn't figure out why I was annoyed. *facepalm* Husbands are so dense sometimes.
I'm also editing this just to add that I'm also doing this when I have a final coming up next week, and a project due, and another test. I'm in school so that I can have a well-paying career that I like so that he can retire early, and what does he say? "Well, you're the one who wants to be in school." AAAARRRRRGH!
