So... theres a great trainer at our gym and he is a nice guy, we've been work friends for about a year, we have the same style and I've been slacking off lately, so I hired him to do legs with me once a week - just to keep things interesting give me a challenge, etc.
I told him what I was looking for - heavy weights, traditional stuff (leg press, smith machine squats, step ups, etc) and that I get a ton of the other stuff but I've been missing this component and just need someone to sort of make me do it :D At the same time, I told him I was definitely open to his thoughts and ideas and would be compliant with his plan as long as it left me with juice for classes.
Obviously since I'm posting this, I didnt get what I wanted - at ALL. So, where do I go from here? I dont want to take control, but I know that what we did is not what I need. If it were some person I didnt know, I would not go back at the rate I'm paying him. I'm kind of stuck... thoughts?
