Although this doesn't affect many of you here, I still wanted to pass along this article since it concerns donor insemination. Basically, in CA they are working on making changes that would protect men who do are expecting to have a relationship with the child after it's born. This could be the case for some members:
The bill is intended to allow a limited class of fathers, those who have brought the children into their homes, and held the children out as their own, to obtain parentage rights to those children. The bill is necessary in order to protect those children from losing a relationship with their fathers.
