I started that second course I mentioned a while back. We have a different instructor. I always looked forward the the other class and this one, I dread. This person has something to prove, and to whom, I'm not sure. She is extremely negative. If I listed all of the inappropriateness, you guys would die. Let's just say she is big on professionalism, but does not walk the walk. I try to smile and think positively and some days are not as bad as others. However, I'm sitting here today, thinking about tomorrow and it's as if this dark cloud has rolled in. I do think part of it is, this course is twice as long, both the amount of class time and the length of the course itself. I am hoping and praying that the other instructor takes over soon, as that was the initial plan(the two classes overlapped by a week). If you have any similar experiences/tips to share please feel free but do send some positive vibes my way. Absorbing the information is hard enough for me on it's own. I need to figure out some kind of Jedi-mind-trick in order to get past this person's personality/teaching style so that I can actually learn something.
Would it be rude, when she starts going off about some unrelated topic, to read the text book(ie try to tune her out)? Trust me, I do not want to offend her. I don't think anyone would want to see her bad side.
