Not only can getting some exercise outdoors reduce stress and boosts your immune system, it can also help with hyperactivity:
Kids with ADHD who play outside regularly have milder hyperactivity symptoms, according to studies at the University of Illinois. Get your kid outside for a 20 minute walk and he will be able to concentrate better.
I'll have to try this with my son. Even though he's not hyperactive, I'm curious if gettign some exercise before sitting down to work on schoolwork will make him focus better.
