The occupational therapist was giving us her assessment which included the task of typing. She said DD was fast at 47 wpm, that included auto correct and knowing how to use that feature. We laughed b/c the news up to that point was rather somber but she said she was like a fish out of water with the typing, Lol. Adding accessibility of a word processor to her IEP isn't necessary b/c ALL children are allowed that but it's nice to know there is an incredible advantage of technoogy. I'm an old fashioned sort that would rather see computers and technology left at bay in the classroom but I'm coming around.
