I'm thinking about trying Zumba so I was looking at some websites for classes offered in my area. One of them said that you should not wear running shoes for Zumba, wear cross trainers. My questions are, does it really matter for Zumba? My "workout" shoes are running shoes because one of my forms of exercise is walking (sometimes with some short jogs thrown in) but its hard to find walking shoes that fit me whereas there are lots of choices in running shoes. I need to replace my current running shoes so my second question is if cross trainers would be suitable for the walking? I could buy two different pairs but I'd rather just get one for now. Any other comments or suggestions? Thanks!
