I've been growing my hair long since last fall. It's probably around shoulder-length now (see pic taken the other day). Besides being long, as you can see it's also very thick/wavy/curly.
I've heard of the "in-between" stage where your hair isn't long enough nor short enough to know exactly what to do with it. I think I've reached that stage. My intention is to grow it another 6"-9" or so (to the bottom of my chest, approximately) over the next 12-18 months.
My question is for anyone, really, who has long, thick, wavy hair, or knows how to manage it, and the question is, how do I manage it without having to go to my stylist? I like when it's blown out, actually. The easiest, of course, is to just get out of the shower and not touch it, and it will just curl up on its own. But how do you blow-dry your hair when you have really long, thick hair? It seems next to impossible with one hand holding a brush and the other a blow-dryer, and it never comes out nearly as good as when my stylist does it!
Thanks for any help!
