The Today Show is following up on a follow up from New York Times Magazine, that gives an update on women who 10 years ago decided to leave the workforce to become SAHMs. I thought it was very interesting that one of the moms said that the only change she would have made would be to have kept her foot in the door somewhere, that it was much harder finding work again.

Do you think it's a good idea for moms to leave the work force entirely? If you are a SAHM, what would you do in the event of a financial hardship like your spouse losing their job, or a divorce? Do you think you would have an easy time finding work with a large gap on your resume?
